About the Role
As the Senior Manager of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG), you will lead the development and execution of the company’s ESG strategy, driving initiatives that enhance our environmental, social, and governance performance. You will provide strategic direction, oversee ESG programs and reporting, and work closely with senior leadership and other departments to integrate ESG principles into the company's operations and culture. This role will be based onsite at our global headquarters in St. Louis Missouri.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Develops and implements the company’s ESG strategy and goals, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
- Provides thought leadership on ESG issues and trends, guiding the organization’s approach to sustainability, social responsibility, and governance.
- Ensures compliance with ESG regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Oversees the preparation and delivery of ESG disclosures, including sustainability reports, to meet regulatory and stakeholder expectations.
- Leads and manages key ESG programs and initiatives, including environmental sustainability, and corporate governance improvements.
- Sets clear objectives and performance metrics for ESG initiatives, tracking progress and reporting outcomes.
- Stays informed about emerging ESG trends, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Builds and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, community leaders, and employees, to promote transparency and engagement on ESG matters.
- Addresses ESG-related inquiries and concerns from stakeholders, providing timely and accurate information.
- Identifies and implements opportunities for enhancing ESG practices and performance across the organization.
- Oversees the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data and performance metrics.
- Benchmarks the company’s ESG performance against industry peers and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ year of experience in environmental science, sustainability, business related field
- Global Project management experience
- Global Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications
- Extensive experience in ESG, sustainability, or related fields, with a proven track record of developing and implementing ESG strategies at a senior level.
- Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD), and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing cross-functional teams and driving organizational change.
